Tutorial Ahead...
Welcome to the first Photoshop template layout tutorial here at UPUP Media. The tutorial is consisted of 4 pages: Base, Logo, Content, and Finishing Touches. Start off this tutorial by clicking here to move on to the first part of the tutorial. Turn on some MP3s, chew some gum, and have fun with this tutorial.
Breakdown of Steps
Step 1 - This step is pretty much making selections and filling in colors. You'll be creating the Layout Base here.
Step 2 - The 2nd step involves working on the logo. The images are cropped to reduce file-size, but you'll want to do the logo with the base PSD still open.
Step 3 - Content is added in this step. Lipsum.org, baby.
Step 4 - Finishing touches are the thing of this small step. Add some nice touches to make the layout stick out a little bit more.
Resources
Lost? Confused? You shouldn't be, but if you are download the Clean Layout PSD Source file.
Note: All fonts don't use anti-aliasing, except for the font used in the logo, which has the anti-aliasing of "Strong".
Numbers/letters shown in this (f3f3f3) format are RGB codes. (RRGGBB). You can copy and paste this into your photoshop color palette to retrieve the proper color I use in the document. Very helpful if you want to follow along 100%.
