Step 1 - Starting Out
Create a new document. The size will vary depending on the size of your logo, but in my case I'm using 302x400. Step 2 - Dragging logo
Drag whatever logo you want into the document. I'll be using Quake 4's symbol in this tutorial. Step 3 - Applying the Blur
Go to Filter»Blur»Gaussian Blur (see image.) Set the blur to have a radius of 4.0px (note: this might require changing depending on the size of the logo. The document should now look like this. Step 4 - Rounded Rectangle Base
Place a rounded rectangle on the document using the "Rounded Rectangle Tool." Create one similar to the document, with a radius of 3-5px depending on the size of your logo/rectangle. Make sure your foreground color is a light-grey (or a dark one, depending on the logo/background.) Step 5 - Stroke
Go into the blending options of the rectangle layer, and give it a stroke with the details in the image below. Now your document should look like this. Let's add some text to finish it up. Step 6 - Text
With a color that matches the logo's, pull out the "Horizontal Type Tool." Type in ENTER, or whatever text you want. Make sure it is a small size, and a sleek font. I used Arial in my example. End! Job well done!
