Step 1 - The Pen Tool

Make a new 200x200 Photoshop document. With the pen tool, create a nice curvy line by making a work path (by clicking anywhere), and then clicking and dragging a new anchor point at an angle (see animation.) Now right click it, and click on "Stroke Path." Stroke the path any color, but make sure it is around 5 pixels thick. Now in blending options, give a "gradient overlay." Click here to see the gradient settings. Step 2 - Duplicating and changing color
Duplicate the layer, and then rotate it around by going to Edit»Transform»Rotate. Once you get it to the opposite side of the first one you made, position it under/left of the top one like in the image. Change the gradient's color to a pink, or blue, or whatever color you think fits. Step 3 - Text Layer
Type in text below the logo. I'll be using UPUP. Use any fancy font you can find, but be sure to use a dark grey layer (not fully black.) Step 4 - Text Layer 2
Type your second text layer under it, and keep it the same font family, but just a lighter color and smaller font. If you want an addition effect, put one space in between every letter to make it look even better (in most cases, at least.) End! Job well done! :)
